WHAT TO EXPECT

Upon arrival, our friendly reception staff will check you in and introduce you to your esthetician. You will be taken into your spacious and private salon room. Complimentary beverages and snacks are always available in the reception area.

Ladies - please be aware that waxing when you are premenstual or menstrual, will increase the discomfort.

To ensure a safe waxing experience, gloves are worn for all services.

PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

Please allow a quarter inch of growth before your visit. This makes for a cleaner wax, and reduced tweezing. Do not apply self tanner, moisturizer, any abrasive facial or body scrub, or any product that dries the skin. If you have any questions about appropriate products, please call ahead of time and one of our trained professionals will gladly assist you.

PRODUCTS TO AVOID

Some products are contra-indicated for waxing. Please check with your doctor prior to your appointment if you are using any of the following: Accutane, Retin-A, Avita, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid and salicylic acid.

BRAZILIAN WAXING

The Brazilian wax is one of the most common waxes performed. It is a technique that removes all the hair from the entire bikini area. The Brazilian wax is for both men and women, and is the cleanest and barest of all bikini waxes. Results vary, depending on hair growth rate, but usually lasts 4-6 weeks.

Considering waxing for a special event? If you're a first time waxer, we recommend waxing at least one month prior to your event, as a test. Skin types react differently to waxing, so if you have little to no reaction, it's safe to get waxed a few days before your event.

APPOINTMENT AFTER-CARE

Our waxing salon carries specially formulated products that prevent ingrown hairs and rashes. To help minimize these occurrences, do not expose your skin to sun, hot tubs, swimming or the use of tanning booths for at least 24 hours after your wax.
